What's New?

This year, Lincoln has made a host of new changes to the new Nautilus. For starters, the Reserve and Black Label trims gain more amenities, such as adaptive headlights that can alter the illumination based on speed and steering. The Black Label also receives a Special Edition package that adds a black exterior, a black roof, and 22-inch black wheels.

Additionally, all models come with a new 13.2-inch infotainment touchscreen and a 12.4-inch digital gauge. There's also the inclusion of Blue Cruise, a hands-free driving tech for all models, plus the Lincoln Digital Experience interface, which offers Google Maps and Google's voice assistant.

Design

The Lincoln Aviator offers a stylish exterior design with a small grille, sleek headlights, and some beveling on the doors. As for the interior, there are plenty of high-end materials used to help provide a comfortable drive. Though there's plenty of space for adults in the first two rows, the third row is a bit cramped and best suited to kids and younger adults. Also, behind the third row, Warrington drivers will find about 18 cubic feet of cargo space.

Performance

To power all Aviator models, a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine is installed. The engine outputs 400 horsepower, 415 lbs.-ft of torque, and comes with rear-wheel drive. All-wheel drive is available but only on the Premium and Reserve trims.

Fuel Economy

In testing, the EPA found the Lincoln Aviator with rear-wheel drive to get around 18 mpg city and 26 mpg highway. However, with all-wheel drive, the efficiency dipped slightly to 17 mpg city and 24 mpg highway.

Technology

Throughout the cabin of the Aviator, there's a plethora of tech for people to enjoy. Along with the updated touchscreen and gauge cluster, there is satellite radio, a Wi-Fi hotspot, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto capability, and more as standard. Although in higher trims, Quakertown shoppers will find even more features, such as a smartphone app to unlock and start the Aviator, plus a Revel Ultima 3D audio system with 28 speakers.

Safety

Every new Aviator has a suite of driver-assist features called Co-Pilot360. Warminster customers will receive forward-collision warnings with automated emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, and a rearview camera in this bundle. But by upgrading to the optional Co-Pilot360 1.5, Perkasie shoppers can get adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, and a self-parking system.

Trims

The Lincoln Aviator is available in three trim levels: Premiere, Reserve, and Black Label.

Premiere: As a base trim, the Premiere is loaded with tech and amenities. Rain-sensing windshield wipers, heated front seats & mirrors, a 10.1-inch touchscreen, and a 10-speaker sound system are a few of what's offered.

Reserve: Adds all the features of the Premium package from the Premiere, along with a host of new amenities. The new features include ambient interior lighting, leather upholstery, a navigation system, and a 14-speaker sound system.

Black Label: As the most luxurious version of the Aviator, features like soft-close doors, premium leather seats, a head-up display, and Lincoln Co-Pilot360 1.5 Plus are offered.
